Humility Can Make All The Difference

We had a fun family thing planned one night that I had been looking forward to. About five minutes before we had to leave our circumstances changed and we couldn't go. I could feel it was going to "ruin my night". So I had to quickly go to work on changing my attitude and not letting it effect the time I had with my husband and kids. I immediately got on my knees and said a prayer and expressed gratitude for this beautiful Sabbath day, for the opportunity we were given and invitation extended and then prayed that I could let it go quickly. Sometimes I forget the power God has over the little things. And I forget how humility can make all the difference.
